Scheduling procedures
Before the 1st of every month I will send an email with a list of lesson dates for the upcoming month.
Here's an example:
Hi everyone!
Our January schedule is below--as always, please let me know if you need to make any changes.
Happy new year!
Jackie
**Monday students will have 4 lessons (Jan 6, 13, 20, 27)
**Tuesday students will have 4 lessons (Jan 7, 14, 21, 28) **please note: Moriah, Lauren, and Clare-I am not available for your usual times on the 21st-I will send options for rescheduling
**Wednesday students will have 4 lessons (Jan 8, 15, 22, 29)
Thursday students will have 4 lessons (Jan 2, 9, 23, 30) **please note, no lessons on **Thursday Jan 16--I will send options for rescheduling that day)
**Friday students will have students will have 5 lessons (Jan 3, 10, 17, 24, 31)
At that time, please let me know if you have any conflicts so that we can discuss rescheduling.
PLEASE NOTE: if you do not contact me to let me know about conflicts by the first lesson of the month, you are committed to attending (and paying for) these dates.
Payment
Payment for the entire month of lessons is due at or before the first lesson of the month. If you are unable to pay for the entire month up front, please let me know and we can make another arrangement. I accept cash, checks, Venmo, and PayPal.
Late Payment
Payment is due at the first lesson of the month. There will be a ONE week grace period for payment, after which a 10% late fee will be applied.
Cancellation Policies
Should you be unable to attend a lesson to which you committed at the beginning of the month, I will do my best to offer options for rescheduling. Unfortunately this is not always possible; if we can not find a mutually acceptable alternative within ONE week of the cancellation, no credit will be given for the missed lesson.
24 Hour Cancellation Policy:
NO credit will be given for lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, regardless of whether or not we are able to reschedule. The ONLY exception to these policies is in the event of unexpected illness. Should I need to cancel a lesson unexpectedly, you will be given a credit toward the following month's payment.
Inclement Weather policy
Should weather conditions make for unsafe travel, lessons will be offered virtually, via Google Meet. Should you choose not to attend your virtual lesson, the cancellation policies stated above will apply.
